Simpang Bedok
There are mainly Indian and Malay cuisines served here, except for Spize that serves western food. For chinese food, there are around 2-3 restaurants slightly further down near the bungalows. But don't advise you to waste your time and stomach space there.
It's Wed but the place is crowded with young groups and families.
Spize - Western Food. I prefer Spize for their pratas and kambing soup at Zion Road.
Pig always orders his Seafood Fried Rice from New Hawa restaurant. For me, the unusual Bee Hoon Goreng in Malay style. Why? Theirs is a wet version and stir-fry with cai xin, prawns and squid.
Seafood Fried Rice, $4.50. May not look fantastic here but the taste is solid!
Pig: "They've increased the price by $0.50."
But the standard is still there as proven by him below.
Can you count the no. of prawns and squids?
Teh-O-Ice-Limau
Pig recommended since he used to frequent M'sia with his biker friends.
Refreshing and thirst-quenching drink.
Pig good at wiping out rice dishes. The last prawn was a finale.
Oops... if you are waiting for the bee hoon goreng pic... sorry to disappoint you I didn't order. Had dinner prior to this.
