A Soba & KTV after HK
Sad to say I couldn't remember the name of the soba restaurant and the noodles or desserts we had. But you've got the hint and know where to enjoy these delectable hand-made healthy soba.
Hope the photos without much introduction can entice you to try.
This was among the rest, the most interesting and queer soba. Mainly because of the sticky dipping sauce that came along. All I could remember was that one of the ingredients used was yam.
I must confessed that I'm not a big fan of noodles and with little mood, opted for their desserts instead.
A waitress came over to advise and guide our friend the way to eat the queer soba set.
Looked like the sauce needed additional seasonings to make it less distasteful.
The girls looked on with amuse.
I ordered a set of dessert platter. The mixture not only enhance the taste of the other desserts on the plate, but also my taste buds as well. It also lightened up my mood and made me a happy person on that table. On the top left corner was the apple pie, rich with apple cubes and custard cream (if I remembered correctly). Bottom right was green tea mochi sprinkled with cinnamon powder. There was also green tea ice-cream, with red bean paste by the side and another mochi with filling on the other side. Lastly, some strips of crispy fried dough coated with honey? and white sesame seeds. You must be wondering what happened to that queer soba and our friend who was brave enough to give it a try? Aparently, he didn't finished it. Too weird for his taste. Since he didn't want the sauce, Ms A added tea to it and dared him to drink it up. Eeeewwwww!! Our friend stirred the concoction to blend them well. Truly and utterly gross! I'm not going to continue with how he managed to down the cup into his stomach. Just imagine for yourself then. Orange, as usual, arrived late and with a hungry stomach. So Ms A treated him to a Krispy Creme donut we brought back from HK. Later that night as I continued to unpack the souvenirs I bought from HK... I sticked these magnetic mini road sign boards onto the refrigerator. It took me some time to decide which to stay and which to be given away [@_@]""" Back at the office the following week after a weekend rest, I realised that I was REALLY deeply missed by my fellow colleagues... ~[>_<]~
With his stomach
