Not-So-Surprise Vanilla Birthday Cupcakes

Wonder why I named the title 'Not-so-surprise'? I'd asked our new colleague, ST, the flavour for her birthday cupcakes when we were celebrating Ah Wang's birthday in the office previously. So it's not a real surprise then when she got her vanilla cupcakes. but I did twist to it by adding vanilla ice-cream and cherry filling into the cupcakes.

She loved them, and was still pleasantly surpised as she's forgotten about it!

Target was absorbed in her work as we prepared to sprang the cupcakes on her.

We requested and urged Ah Wang to sing ST a birthday song.

I used the lime cookies I baked earlier to iced her initials.

"ST!"

I like the combination of the colours, not too over-whelming.

Satified and happy ST with her Vanilla Birthday cupcakes.

I guess the ice-cream wasn't enough. It didn't create the ozzy effect I had intended. But it did help to mellow the sweetness of the cherry filling.

Yes! That's alot of sinful cream there .
