Gerry's Birthday @ Soup Restaurant

We're celebrating Piggy Gerry's birthday on a Monday, after work. Chix wouldn't make it as she's heavy with yet to be born Lil' fellow.
As the Thai restaurant that Fish had suggested was closed, we settled for the Soup Restaurant on Purvis Street instead.
Guess what? It's the 1st time we had dinner here. All past gatherings and dinners were all held in western eateries.

This is the most cosy Soup Restaurant that I find so far. The other that I had my meals at was at Royal Plaza on Scotts.

Fish and Witch Nana

Birthday gal, Gerry and Piggy E.

For appetiser, we were served steamed peanuts. A commonly served appetiser in all chinese restaurants.

I present you their most famous dish, the Samsui Chicken with lettuce, preserved ginger and chilli.

Close up on the boiled boneless chicken meat.

My way of eating the delicious Samsui Chicken; a slice of chicken topped with lotsa ginger and cucumber in lettuce.

Kai Lan stir-fry with chinese herb, Dang Gui.

Sweet sauce beancurd

Herbal Chicken Soup

Salted Snow Fish; not my favourite though.

After dinner, we proceeded with Gerry's birthday cupcakes. They were strawberry ones.

Happy Birthday Piggy Gerry!

Fish enjoying the cupcake.

Ain't Fish cute here? I commented that she looked like Daisy Duck in this pic. Ooops!

By the way, she loved the cupcake so much she had a second helping.

Witch Nana whipped out her goody glasses. So she's become Secretary Nana that night!

Or rather, she looked like a teacher or student perhaps?

Gerry opening up her pressies.

Part I: Precious Moment photo album and a cupcake figurine of her b'dae month.

Part II: Vouchers from Capital Mall.

The lamp on the ceiling was swaying more and more as the night went on... We finally asked the waitress who told us it was normal as there's a dancing class above.

After dinner, we continued to hang around for chit-chat session and some catching up on our Uni days again.

Piggy E is forever saying cute stuff that get us cracking up all the time!

See all of us laughing hysterically?

It was a really great dinner, with the night ended off in heaps of laughter. A wonderful time spent with the Piggies indeed!
