3-in-1 Oct Gals B'dae Gathering
And I always prefer to plan ahead by making reservation/ appointment for my gatherings, even hair cuts and all.
The beautifully crafted menu.
Est, Ser and Ser's son, Aden.
Cor; looking the same as during Uni days.
Top - Sugee cake and bottom - Oreo Cheesecake.
Hot Choc Pudding with Honey.
My Seafood Mariana Spaghetti. The taste of the sauce was heavy, especially for the olive oil. Otherwise, it would be perfect!
But I was so hungry that I wolved down the entire plate.
Our BZ Ms A arrived at the right time as we tucked into our tea cum dinner.
Last to arrive was none other than Orange. Of course we need to take a pic of his charismatic smile.
And again!
Orange was good at his secondary job; baby-sitter.
Ms A's Butterfish/ Cod fish with Potato Gratin and Asparagus Wrapped in Bacon strips.
Orange's Pan-seared Salmon with Asparagus.
Ser and Aden.
Finally the Oct Birthday Gals show-casing their Cherry Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Swirl.
The cupcake was literally frozen! I could still taste the cherry filling but found it too sweet.
Orange seemed so good at his job here.
The gals discussing Ms A's 1st Gucci Handbag.
Ms A gotten Up-Close-and Personal with Mommy Ser.
The Birthday Gals receiving their pressies.
Aden playing with the cupcake.
And only Orange could keep him reined w/o crying.
All great gatherings always seemed to end so early.
The rest of us chose Dempsey for a drink or two since it's still early.
This was a new group, compared to the last one when I was here. Nice soothing vocal, singing away jazzily but not to jazz songs thou.
Mr Nice Guy, Orange, sent us all back home. On the way to mine, we passed through the stretch of road along Geylang Serai being lit up with beautiful glittery lights for Hari Raya.
Labels: Cherry Vanilla Cupcake, Dempsey, Quaru Bar, Royal Copenhagen, Takashimaya
