Gals Only Hong Kong Trip: Day IV

It's a full day of fun ahead for us. We're to enjoy Ocean Park for the first time and we expect more since we decided to forgo HK Disneyland for OP.

There's only one bus that you can hop on from the Admiralty station to Ocean Park. Per way should be about HKD20+.

Flamingos suntanning or sleeping??

Water sports

Our breakfast to kick start the day.

Ms A's baked rice with chicken.

Me; Ham sandwich with pork floss.

Ms Est; French toast with strawberry jam.

There won't be much comments on the rest of the following pics. So just enjoy!

Enjoying the seabreeze and the scenery.

It's really a hot day but great for the outing.

Haha... U'll neva expect Est to be this hyper?!

Hmmm.... I knoe u muz be wondering wat this pic is about. Nice cute guy in blue q[^^]p!

We managed to find seats in the 1st row for the time slot of this performance. Luckily, we brot our umbrellas!

We were accompanying Ms A to draw her portait. But ended up me joining her as well.

Est reminded us of how hungry we were, and ordered tis giant hot dog for 3 of us to share. Topped with minced meat, onions, cheese and mustard. Delicious...!

We took a cable ride to the other side of OP. Yes... it's that huge for a park.

OP's logo.

Pls skip this if you happen to be there. Unless you're with really small kids.

See wat I mean??

So this other part of OP is actually meant for smaller kids.

Acrobats

There went Est again!

HAH! Ms A joined in as well!

We took the hot air balloon before we left OP.

A book vending machine at the MTR station. =( I regret not grabbing an interesting novel from it.

It was around 9pm when we rushed to Pacific Place for dinner. It's a high-end shopping center next to the MTR station.

And a high-end shopping center has a high-end toilet.

Since we didn't manage to find the food court, we decided to travel down to Causeway Bay for dinner. The chances of finding a restaurant that's still open is higher there.

Mail box.

Again, we chanced upon this pasta restaurant in one of the shopping centers.

Me; UCC House Blended Coffee.

Passion fruit and Kiwi

Est's; Scallop and mushroom spaghetti (Japanese style sauce)

This was a tad blend and seemed to use a miso soup base for the sauce.

Me; Seafood Risotto (Tomato sauce)

I love it! The seafood were fresh and generous. Tomato sauce was not too sweet.

Ms A's; Salmon and spinach gratin

Not too creamy for my taste. I think I was really absorbed in my own that I can't really make out the exact ingredients to make this pasta.

After dinner, we went on a window shopping spree.

The Giordano has more designs and not so casual as the ones in S'pore.

We caught up with this peddler who sells cheap and sweet umbrellas.

Looked at our lot?! Ain't him young and cute? Ms A met him the other day and he was selling T-shirts. Young entreprenuer!

Besides Sasa, there's also another (which I can't remember the name already) that sells as many beauty products as Sasa.

On our way back, we stopped by this Pie & Tart at the MTR station.

I bought a mushroom pie for breakfast the next day.

A newspaper vendor just outside the MTR exit, on our back to the hotel.

The porn mags were pretty openly displayed. We wasted some time and sneakily bought 3 for out curiousity. And as gifts for the guys back home. Kakaka...

We were shock and wondered what happened to the hotel? A fire? A suicide attempt?

Nope! It was a film shooting. You know being the typical kay poh S'poreans, quickly, we walked across to catch a glimpse and grab a photo of whichever movie stars would be there.

That were alot of human and machines needed to shoot probably one scene or two.

HK papparazzi

The actress was the woman in coat on the left-most of the pic. But none of us know who she is. After waiting for 1/2 hr or so, we decided to ask one of the 3 S'porean girls standing in front whom they are waiting for. It was Nicholas Tse.

Since we knew who and we're not interested, and on top that it was late, we decided to head back to our room.

We made Est our maid for the night since she was the more eager person to rush back.

For the gals.

Supper for me and ... some for the gals as well!
